Software Update Policy
At Agend Systems, we maintain a proactive approach to software maintenance to ensure your membership platform remains secure, stable, and performing optimally.

Regular Update Schedule
Monthly Updates
- Scheduled during the first week of each month
- Includes improvements to Agend, WordPress, database, and PHP systems
- Provides bug fixes and new features to enhance your member experience
Note
Pre-release versions of our software plus Wordpress core & plugins are updated on our clients' staging environment (where applicable). They are then available for testing for the next 4 weeks.
Production sites are updated with the previous month's staging updates. This ensures a thorough testing and deployment regime.
Priority Security Updates
- Deployed as needed between monthly updates
- Applied when important security vulnerabilities are identified
- Prioritised based on risk level and relevance to your specific implementation
Our update decisions are always based on:
- The severity of the security risk
- Whether the vulnerability affects your specific configuration
- The potential impact on your members' experience
Note
Intra monthly updates will typically be done for issues that receive a CVSS 4.0 score rated at a 5 and/or High and a known exploit exists and has been reported. More details regarding CVSS 4.0 can be found here
Data Protection and Recovery
Comprehensive Backup System
- Daily backups of your entire platform
- 30-day rolling backup retention
- Secure storage in Australian data centers (Sydney/Melbourne)
- Development version backups maintained separately
Rapid Recovery Capabilities In the unlikely event of a system issue:
- We can restore your platform from any backup point within the last 30 days
- Typical recovery time is approximately 3 hours dependent on particular platform components & performed during business hours
- Your central member data is stored and protected in the CRM system
